Having moved house at the beginning of this year, I am currently still adding the finishing touches to Jack's bedroom. Jack is three years old and is car obsessed. To be honest it's not just cars, it's pretty much anything transport related. Emergency vehicles, Airplanes and helicopters - you name it, Jack loves it. I decided on a transport theme for his room and with a fire engine bed, car rug and transport light shade, we are well on our way to decorating it according to this theme. Having already got these basics, I've been looking for accessories that will transform the room and make it look very special for Jack.

I came across Little Ragamuffins earlier this year. Set up by two working mums in 2012, Little Ragamuffins is an independent retailer that sells a wide range of children's bedroom and nursery accessories. Categorised not only by style but also by theme, I was surprised by the sheer amount of choice on their website. From a transport theme to a Princess theme, there is something for everyone.  They kindly offered me the opportunity of working with them and I jumped at the chance.  If I'm honest I had trouble narrowing my choices down as I could have purchased many items on the website. Eventually I narrowed it down to a Car Alarm Clock and a London Bus Cushion. Both items arrived a few weeks ago and have slotted perfectly into Jack's bedroom.

Jack loved the Car Alarm Clock immediately. He is learning about clocks and the time at Nursery and currently has a large interest in this. Finished in a white casing and with a bright display and car illustration, it is very eye catching and fit's perfectly within the transport theme. At 7cm high, it's perfect for a bedside table or a shelf. It does have an alarm feature, though I do currently have this switched off as Jack is only three and is still using the Gro Clock to help him know what time to get up of a morning. For nighttime wakings it also has a light which can be triggered by pressing the top of the clock. Jack can only tell the time if it is at the O'Clock but I'm certain that this clock will have a lot of use over the next few years.

We also received the London Bus Cushion. Jack absolutely loves books and has a little corner of his bedroom that is dedicated to reading. I thought this cushion would look fabulous on his armchair. Made from Polyester and with a bright display of the front of the bus and a clear cream coloured back, it is the perfect accessory for a child's room.
I absolutely loved both of the items I have received and already have my eye on a few items that I will be purchasing next for his room. It's lovely to find a company that sells such unique accessories that can really make a child's bedroom look special.
